Advanced Technology to Assess the Impact of Stress

What is the INSiGHT?

A computerized, non-invasive & painless test consisting of heart rate variability, thermal and surface electromyology (SEMG).

Why should I get a scan of my nervous system?

The benefits of these scans are to detect and pinpoint abnormal function which cannot be seen on X-ray and are generally not felt in the form of pain until the damage is severe; Much like a heart attack. The scans will show if there is any Subluxation (stress) on your nervous system and how it is affecting your organs, glands, muscles & energy level.

Does the Insight Millennium test hurt?

Absolutely not. These tests do not utilize any needles, electric shock, or heat whatsoever. The patient just feels someone touching their spine. Even infants can be scanned.

Heart Rate Variability

Heart Rate Variability looks  at the timing of your pulse, and determining the balance and tension within your nervous system. Stressful lifestyles habits, including poor dietary choices, limited exercise and constant emotional aggravation, can cause the body to be caught in the “fight-flight” response. This can lead to exhaustion and a draining of a person’s reserves. Low heart rate variability is associated with accelerated aging and poor heart health. Published research has shown that chiropractic adjustments have a beneficial effect on heart rate variability

Thermal Scan:

The Thermal Scan is used to assess the autonomic nervous system: the part of the nervous system that you don’t have to think about. This part of your nervous system controls:

  • Heart rate
  • Breathing
  • Immunity
  • All organ function
  • Hormonal balance
  • And much more

We do this this by precisely measuring differences in temperature along the spine.Studies at Johns Hopkins University show that the body temperature on the left and right sides of your spine should be the same. A difference of body temperature on the right or left sides of your spine indicates stress or blockage toyour autonomic nerves.

The test enables us to determine what organs may be affected and the severity of the stress. Temperature is an accurate indicator as to where stress is building up and how deeply it affects bodily functions. Each organ system relies on clear and balanced nerve signals to work efficiently. Nerve interference that is detected by this sensor is valuable in understanding and planning health and wellness strategies.

Muscle Balance:

The Surface EMG exam evaluates the function of the muscles that support and move your spine. The nerves running within them control these muscles. We are able to measure how much energy is needed to maintain your posture and how it is distributed throughout the muscles. If too much energy is used when a spine is out of balance, this test score will be lower than normal. Over time, daily stress can continue to overwork these muscles, causing them to lose their support and mobility. Muscle fatigue and poor energy distribution are signs of a person’s entire health being under stress. As you regain control of the muscles and your spine releases tension, our readings of muscle activity will change.
